New Owners and neighbors Mark Frangione and Karen Howe from Greenwich, CT understand what great dining is all about. Come visit our newly remodeled restaurant with a charming New England ambiance. Mark is a Navy Veteran and has a passion for great food and customer hospitality. Some of the dishes on the menu were inspired by his Italian upbringing with parents Luke & Jeannie Frangione. Q:  Where are you located?

A:  612 US Highway 1, Lake Park, FL 33403
   
      Directions:
  • We're on US Highway 1 in Lake Park - just 3/4 mile south of Northlake Blvd.  We're located on the right hand side of US 1 directly across from Kelsey Park.
  • If coming from Singer Island or South: Take Blue Heron Blvd.  We're located on the left hand side of US 1, just 1/2 mile north of Blue Heron.

Q:  What are the Hours of Operation?

A:  We're open Tuesday morning through Sunday evening.

Breakfast & Lunch:   8:00am - 2:00pm
Dinner:                        5:00pm - 9:30pm
 

Q:  Where can customers or patrons park?

A:  Breakfast and Lunch weekdays:  There are spaces at the restaurant or across the street.  Nights and Weekends:  Customers can also park next door at Dr. Greers office - located next door at Park Ave. & US 1.

Q:  Do you accept credit cards?

A:  Yes - Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

Q:  What kind of food or cuisine do you serve?

A:  Upscale American Fare and Italian favorites.  Everything from Eggs Benedict, Gourmet Panini sandwiches, Homemade Tuscan Pizza, Veal Chops, and Lobster Ravioli.  See our menu for details.

Q:  Do you have outdoor dining?

A:  Yes.  We have an outdoor deck for open air dining.

Q:  Do you serve alcohol?

A: 
We serve beer and wine.  Our wine list has a broad selection of wines from around the world.

Q:  Where does the name Pelican Cafe come from?

A:  Collaboration from owners Mark Frangione and Karen Howe.  They love Florida and wanted to create a restaurant with elements of nature; sunlight, blue sky, flowering plants and pelicans.  The name pays homage to one of Florida's favorite birds - the Pelican.

Q:  Do part of your profits go to Palm Beach Charities?

A:  Yes. we make an annual donation to Palm Beach charities in honor of Janet Howe (Karen's Mom), a former Social Worker and presently an advocate for children through the Guardian Ad Litem Program.

Q:  Do you have Take-Out Service?

A:  Yes - anything on the menu is available for Take-Out.  Just call ahead and your order will be waiting for you upon arrival.

Q:  Can I bring my Pooch to the outdoor Patio?

A:  Yes - We are pet friendly on the patio 

Q:  Do you offer Large Group Reservations?

A:  Yes - from 12 to 75.  

  • Private parties are welcome for one section of the restaurant or the entire restaurant.
  • We'll work with any group to design the function around budget and/or theme.
  • Advance reservations required to ensure space availability. 

Q:  Do you offer Catering Services?

A:  Yes - why cook when you can have the party catered!

  • We've catered parties from 12 to 300.
  • We'll work together to help develop a menu to fit your pallet and budget.
  • Staffing for Food Service and Bar available.
